Love Windermere published its first Action Plan in November 2025.  The plan features 33 actions to tackle pollution and provide information.

We are currently welcoming contributions for these two vital projects::

  • Citizen Science – groups will be invited to apply for small grants to undertake monitoring in Windermere.  The results will be used alongside a wealth of other science, data and evidence to inform future work.  Projects will be invited to come forward on specific topics and locations identified by the Partnership with guidance from independent science professionals.  Expert support and advice will be integral to projects that are successful.
  • Public Information – we would like to improve how information relating to water quality is shared.  This project includes improved signage, events and if we secure enough funding, a portal for data.

Alternatively, you can become an annual contributor to the Love Windermere Fund to support the wider work of Love Windermere Partnership.  If you would like to become a supporter, please donate.  If you would like to become a member of the Love Windermere Business Support Group, just tick the box on page two.
