Description
The LD£20 represents ‘Love for the Landscape’ and features Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley, who lived in the Lake District and was one of the founders of the National Trust as well as a key pioneer in conservation. The landscape on the reverse features a view across Coniston Water to the famous Old Man of Coniston.
We now offer the LD£s for purchase in pairs for framing and display – enabling you to frame them showing the front and back alongside each other.
The Lake District Pounds are designed to be attractive and fun to use. They have been so well liked, many people have chosen to frame their LD£s for display.
If you choose to do the same, we hope that you will continue to enjoy them for many years to come, knowing also that you are supporting the Lake District for future generations.
