Thanks to your generous support, we’re celebrating a fantastic milestone—over £12,000 raised through the Big Green Give to support flood prevention and sustainable farming right here in the Lake District.

Every pound donated during the campaign was doubled through match funding, making twice the impact for our landscapes, rivers and communities. The money raised will go directly to projects that reduce flood risk and improve soil health by working with nature and alongside farmers.

Our work focuses on natural flood management and regenerative farming techniques—slowing the flow of water, increasing biodiversity and improving resilience across the catchment. From planting trees and restoring hedgerows to trialling innovative land practices, these interventions not only protect homes and habitats but help tackle the root causes of climate change.
